We are NOT a broker or agent.....

Many callers are rightly concerned that they should receive what they are promised. With so many companies claiming that they 'own' vehicles, when in fact they are an agent or broker, this is does not come as a complete surprise.

As the name suggests, most brokers and agents do not own the majority of the vehicles they offer for hire, in fact some may not own any and, more often than not, the images depicted on their websites are 'borrowed' or generic.

In many, but not all cases, the broker or agent will quote you on anything you have asked for and then, if you accept the quote, search their database or locate a company within your area that has a similar vehicle to what you are looking for. They will then sell your booking, or charge a fee. We have no issue with brokers or agents where they make clear how they operate before you book, but of course, not all do.

Cars for Stars is a franchised business and as such all of our franchisees have to adhere to a written code of practice, honour a binding contract (licence agreement) and comply with formal systems and procedures. This ensure that whichever branch our customers use, they receive the same, high levels of service and., for regular customers, continuity.

We own all of our cars and the images shown on the image gallery pages are the actual vehicles owned and operated by Cars for Stars. We will not attempt to lure in customers with generic images.

Unlike many other limousine operators, all of our franchisees are licensed by their respective local authorities for private hire. This ensures that the chauffeur cars and limousines we offer are regularly subjected to a rigorous council test and that all of our chauffeurs are licensed by the local authority, which includes a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check.

We never sub-contract hires on our stretched limousines. If we cannot service your request we will say so, we will not risk our hard earned reputation by sub-contracting limousine hires.

Nearly 85% of our enquiries are received online and out of office hours. We recognise this and respond quickly to all online enquiries with a detailed quote which outlines what we include and what we do not. It is written in a clear manner, where both parties knows what is expected of the other, we include the itinerary, price and a link to the actual vehicle we are quoting on, which includes high quality images.

If you like what you see, then you can call us on 0845 500 3030 (we are open Monday to Saturday, from 9.00am until 7.00pm) and book. You will then receive a 'Booking Form', either by email or post, the choice is yours, this will confirm the details of the vehicle, the registration number, in most cases the chauffeur, as well as the itinerary, price and deposit paid.

We accept most major credit cards, cheques or payments directly into our bank account, sorry but we do not accept cash on the night.

When you use our online form, you will receive a response from your local branch or centrally from our head office based in London. In each case, you will be responded to quickly and be in receipt of a detailed quotation.

If your first choice of limousine or car is not available, we will offer you an alternative, we will not just ignore you. In the unlikely event that we cannot offer you a vehicle on your chosen date we will tell you. In addition, we will point you in the right direction as to where you may be able to find someone else, local to you that may be able to assist you. We do not 'recommend' other operators because we are not in a position to judge, but we will highlight other sources where you can find limousine or chauffeur car hire companies. In other words, if you take the time to complete our online form, we will have the courtesy to respond quickly and positively and if we cannot assist you, we will point you in the right direction.
